Corporate Responsibility
The aim of the Bridge of Health Alliance is to direct society's attention to breast cancer, raise awareness on the importance of screening, and highlight the related personal and social responsibility.
Between 2002 and 2007, our agency was responsible for carrying out the press relations tasks of the Alliance, as well as event organization – awareness raising walks held each year on the Chain Bridge – and management of sponsor relations.
The key element of the communications strategy was issue management. Press events, interviews and professional background material called attention to the issue. We developed media sponsorship with the most important major national media, including Sanoma, state television MTV, commercial channel TV2 and the leading radio station Danubius.
The Alliance was initiated in 2002 by U.S. Ambassador Nancy Goodman Brinker and founded by five non-governmental organizations, with the professional support of the founding partners: the Ministry of Health, Social and Family Affairs, GE Hungary and Lilly Hungária. The fight against breast cancer has been personally endorsed by many renowned local celebrities.
Throughout the years, our company provided services for the Alliance for charity. The initiative has been efficient with regards to the number of people visiting the walk every year – for 2006, the previous two years has doubled the number of participants –, and information about the importance of screening has gained attention.
